
Carole Hubble was born in London and spent her childhood in Yorkshire. She studied at York College of Art and Maidstone College of Art, gaining her Intermediate and National Diploma of Design. She lived in Greenwich until 2004 when she moved to Deal.
Since qualifying Carole has held several part-time teaching posts, including lecturing in design and drawing at Maidstone College of Art for 12 years. Latterly she was a 6th Form Co-ordinator in a secondary school in Woolwich.
In 1967 Carole was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Artists, and has subsequently been made a Senior Member of the Society. She has been a regular member of the Council and serves on the Selection and Hanging Committees. From 1998-2002 she served as Honorary Secretary for the RBA Council. In 2007 she was made a Trustee of the RBA.
